16 Things I Learned About Myself From My First 6 Months Working In Sales

So I’ve hit the 6 months as a sales rep mark this week and here is what I’ve learned about myself in this busy, stressful, abundant period of growth, confidence and networking.

1) I respond really well to criticism

2) I don’t hate people as much as I thought I did

3) I do not like doing admin (expenses, email follow up etc)

4) If you dangle a carrot in front of me I will do everything within my power to grab it with both hands

5) If I get told off, I shut off from the conversation

6) I get passionate about the things I’m selling really easily

7) And I convince myself they’re worth way more than they probably are

8) I can turn on positivity any time I choose to

9) I’m more confident than most people

10) But I’m also constantly paranoid about my competition

11) I’m super persistent when I want something

12) I can talk myself into and out of procrastinating about anything

13) I can persuade people easily

14) I can also manipulate people if I want to
